About Me

My love for photography began shortly after having my first child. All of a sudden, photos became so much more. They were a way for me to freeze time. The moments that come and go so quickly could be with me forever. They were a way for me to share those moments with my loved ones that could not be present, a way for them to feel like they were there and did not miss a beat. I found something very special.

I bought my first “real” camera to take photos of my family, almost 5 years ago. While I could have *just* used my phone, I wanted more control and better quality. I began to research how to use the camera’s settings and features. I then started following other photographers images to study their composition, consider their lighting, angles, poses, and editing to consider how those factors influenced the overall feel of the image. With lots of support (and requests) from family and friends, next came practice! Finally, in 2023, I felt confident that I could consistently capture those timeless moments and deliver beautiful images and launched my photography business!
